A group of elderly dancers assembles in a Berkeley, CA parking lot to celebrate their resilience and community in “Rewilding,” a short film featuring the dancers of Berkeley Ballet Theater’s Dance for PD® program. Through gesture and touch, people living with Parkinson’s disease and their partners find joy and empowerment in their mobility. The nature-inspired movements of the dancers echoes the journey toward reconnecting with natural rhythms, individually and collectively to create a wilder, more diverse world.
