Bay Area Premiere — “LUCE” follows a mysterious creature with aquatic, alien, and human traits. Her discovery of a new world in a wooded area near a lake activates all her senses in a constant dialogue between her deep internal being and the fundamental elements of nature. Jerky movements evolve into a greater fluidity in an expression of her kinesthetic pleasure, vivacious curiosity, and empathetic contact with an unexplored nature.
“LUCE” received SFDFF’s 2024 Best Art/Experimental Film award.
