Six women question repressive social standards of beauty in “Still.” Clustered in mechanical unisons, they attempt to move forward as a collective, but can’t seem to overcome a state of stagnation. Each in turn challenges herself to break free through glimpses into their internal world of distorted self-image and visceral insecurities. Together, they fight back against objectification to find harmony in their unruly bodies.
